500 HOUR DIPLOMA PROGRAM
A cumulative “Certification Course” hour-count amounting to 500 or greater, is awarded a Reflexology Diploma: 500 hours (while the individual Professional Certificates continue to attest to the full number of hours of training achieved).
Required:

200 hours from ASR Foot Reflexology Professional Certificate
Plus:

300 hours minimum from ANY ASR Professional Certification Course,
or a combination of ANY ASR Professional Certification Courses or
Advanced Learning courses.
Of the total 300 hours:

50 maximum COMBINED hours from ASR’s Professional Development/Elective Courses may be included in the above 500 hours.

180 hours minimum must be from practicum sessions (90 sessions) (or approved equivalency through challenge exam, or supplemental case study*).
From other institutions: transfer credits and challenge exams are available by application. ASR courses must make up 55% of total course load for the ASR Reflexology Diplomas. From other institutions we will accept, as part of the 500 hours:

Up to 150 hours maximum from anatomy/physiology or First Aid training

Up to 25 hours maximum from business/marketing

Up to 50 hours maximum from electives with approved reflexology relevancy

Provide a reference letter from a client or colleague who has received a professional reflexology session from you.
Examples of Reflexology Diploma: 500 hours:

200 hours Foot Reflexology + 150 hours Hand Reflexology + 75 hours Facial Reflexology + 75 hours Auricular Reflexology = 500 total hours: practitioner has completed 310 practicum hours (minimum required 180), holds 4 separate certifications attesting to total number of hours (500), AND a Reflexology Diploma: 500 hours.

200 hours Foot Reflexology + 75 hours Advanced Reflexology + 75 hours Craniosacral Reflexology + 25 hours Body Reflexology + 100 hours Anatomy and Physiology (transfer credit)= 500 total hours: practitioner has completed 244 practicum hours (minimum required 180), holds 5 separate certifications attesting to total number of hours (500), AND a Reflexology Diploma: 500 hours.

200 hours Foot Reflexology + 150 hours Hand Reflexology + 75 hours Advanced Reflexology + 25 hours Asian Foot and Leg Reflexology + 10 hours first aid course (transfer credit) + 45 hours business course (transfer credit) = 505 hours: practitioner has completed 294 practicum hours (minimum required 180), holds 6 separate certifications attesting to total number of hours (505), AND a Reflexology Diploma: 500 hours.
*In the unlikely event the applicant to the 500 hour diploma program falls short of the practicum criteria, they can complete a supplemental case study, at the discretion of ASR.
